Testimonials

"Our family is so thankful to have found the Jefferson County Cancer Coalition. Following a cancer diagnosis there are so many questions and unknowns, but this organization has helped us find peace of mind in our greatest time of need. They have helped us financially, but have also been an amazing source of prayers and encouragement through this tough time. Their fundraising events have provided us the opportunity to have some unadulterated fun in a time when worries are running high, all while helping us connect with other members of the community who are fighting a similar fight. We are so thankful for everything the Jefferson County Cancer Coalition has done for us!"

"Our son was two years old then (2019), as we were escorted from the ER to the Oncology Unit at Children’s Hospital. He was diagnosed with Leukemia. An unexpected infection surfaced and created unforeseen challenges. We did not know we would be in the hospital for nearly 80 consecutive days. During this time and especially after returning home, the Cancer Coalition was available to support our family as we faced several unexpected turns since then. A few examples of this include financial support during our first Christmas back home as a family, when COVID-19 was introduced, and in an urgent need to repair our vehicle we use to get to and from treatments. We are forever grateful that the Cancer Coalition is here for our family, supporting us and our community directly as needs arise."

"The Jefferson County Cancer Coalition has had a tremendous impact on our family over the last year. Not only have they helped us financially, as I have been unable to work, but they have been there for us emotionally. They are always there to give us a shoulder to cry on, endless prayers for us, and love to help us get through such a difficult time. It is an amazing organization and we are so glad we were able to connect with them."
